Becca & Mike | 6.25.2011

For Becca and Mike’s wedding we returned to the Mountain Top Inn, one of our favorite Vermont spots for shooting. Becca and Mike are loads of fun, and you can see their easygoing style and sense of humor in the photos. They were also very particular about choosing great music, and got the entire wedding busting dance moves before dinner was served. A sprinkling of rain during the ceremony turned into a stormy downpour during the reception – made all the more hilarious by the fact that Mike has a childhood fear of thunderstorms and providing great fodder for toasts.

A couple of other things we loved: Mike’s ring, when turned to the side, was in the shape of Becca’s profile. I’ve included a photo below, as I’ve never seen anything quite like it and thought it was pretty awesome. They also had a dessert bar with a variety of desserts handmade by family members – a delicious and wonderfully personalized alternative to cake. Many thanks to my second shooter Ben Hudson who did an awesome job photographing and helping out with formals!
