Christie and Jon were wed at Trinity Church in Shelburne with the reception following at All Souls Interfaith Gathering, a lovely venue with a sweeping view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks beyond. We had already gotten to know them through a few conversations and their June engagement session at Shelburne Farms. On the way to All Souls we photographed a few creative portraits on an amazing hilltop I found while scouting – though the almost full moon, peak foliage and golden evening light didn’t hurt either. I loved that Christie and Jon grew a lot of their own flowers for the wedding, then had the florist from Shelburne Farms (where Christie works) arrange them for the wedding itself. Also, a three-tier tray of fresh cider donuts? Awesome. Congratulations Christie and Jon!
