Jen and Nate were wed on what was widely predicted to be a stormy day, but turned out to be gorgeous instead. Camp Canaras is a lovely little spot on Upper Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks. We loved how they took off in a boat right after the ceremony for a romantic ride around Saranac Lake, and came back just in time for their introduction. The camp setting kept it casual, and an open bar, fireworks and a live band made for a great party all night. Congrats Jen and Nate!

Hello in searching of wedding venues I found your website with photographs from “Jen and Nate 9/4/2011” – a wedding at Camp Canaras on Saranac Lake. Your photographs were absolutely beautiful. I cannot figure out how one would go about renting this venue or even contacting someone to rent it; I was able to confirm that it is a part of St. Lawrence University. I know this is not necessarily a photography inquiry.. quite yet, however, could lead to one if the venue of our dreams was found! 🙂
