Emma & Megan | 9.15.2012

Emma and Megan were wed last month in a beautiful ceremony on the lawn of Grand Isle Lake House, overlooking Lake Champlain. There were so many little things about their wedding we loved: the little inspirational sticky notes that Emma’s sister left all over her bridal suite; the non-traditional ceremony format, in which they dispensed with the usual ceremony aisle and had Team Emma and Team Megan for the bridal parties; dried lavender for the guests to throw on Emma and Megan after they were wed; and a choreographed flash mob surprise for Megan during the reception, led by Emma and several of their friends.

The following Monday, Emma and Megan got dressed up again and we did an early morning post-engagement photo shoot all over Burlington and Winooski – stay tuned for photos in just a few days!

Many thanks to second shooter Ben for his help and great shots. Congratulations, Emma and Megan!

Alexis & Jon | 9.15.2012

Alexis and Jon were wed under dramatic skies on an early fall day at Boyden Valley Farm in Cambridge. The light that day was beautiful and the mountain view from the farm made a perfect backdrop for the first look and portraits. Many thanks to second shooter Seth for his help and great shots – Congratulations Alexis and Jon!

Lindsay & Will | 9.8.2012

Our friends Lindsay and Will asked us to photograph their big day last month – little did we know that we’d be in for such an adventure! The two of them met while working at Camp Abnaki, a beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Champlain in North Hero. With ominous storms looming in the forecast, the ceremony was moved indoors, and it was a good thing; a massive storm blew through right as the ceremony was set to begin, drenching members of the bridal party and taking out the power. Everyone handled it beautifully and the ceremony was done by candlelight. We were treated to a double rainbow during the cocktail hour, and naturally we took advantage for a photo op. The power came back on during dinner, just in time for everyone to get into dance party mode – a fun finish to an unforgettable day! Congratulations, Lindsay and Will!

Kelly & Sepehr | 9.2.2012

Kelly & Sepehr were wed at Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid last month, on a sunny day with just a hint of fall in the air. We especially enjoyed doing the first look and creative portraits – the location was simple, but the light was beautiful and the portraits came out beautifully. So happy for you both – Congratulations, Kelly and Sepehr!

Lauren & Alex | 8.25.2012

Lauren & Alex were wed at Alex’s family farm in Brownsville, Vermont. Both the farm’s location and the tent were amazing and provided a lively backdrop for the day’s photos. Some of our favorite things: the groomsmens’ colorful socks and bowties, the horses hanging out just over the fence during the ceremony, and a really nice moment that we made into a mini-story in the slideshow 🙂 . Many thanks to Seth for doing an awesome job shooting. Congrats Lauren and Alex!
