Jess and Brian were wed at Edson Hill Manor in Stowe in August. Brian’s sister did a fabulous job on their cake, and the couple chose an old school music theme for their wedding and various details. Jess’s dance with her mom was touching and beautiful; before it got dark I stole Jess and Brian away for a few creative portraits down the hill, and we topped off the day with some rocking out, cake cutting, and even a bouquet toss. Thanks to second shooter Ben for all the great help, and congrats, Jess and Brian!
August 4 was a scorcher of a day, but Angela and Fletcher pulled off a beautiful wedding at The Essex Resort & Spa nonetheless. Guests rushing inside for post-ceremony relief from the heat were greeted by a generous (and tasty!) candy bar, and sparklers, later set off in fits of revelry. Many thanks to Ben for second shooting – and congratulations, Angela and Fletcher!
Rachel and Eric were wed at the ECHO Center, right on the lake (and just a stone’s throw from our studio!) after a first look and portraits in nearby Oakledge Park. We shot Rachel and Eric’s engagement session about a year ago and they have been great to work with since – so sweet and obviously in love. Check out a slideshow of highlights down below. Congratulations Rachel and Eric, and many happy returns!
Emily and Dave were wed on a sunshine-filled late summer afternoon as we returned to Edson Hill Manor, a pretty venue tucked into the hills of Stowe. Emily’s sister gave a beautiful reading during the ceremony and later, after emotional toasts, a crazy dance party ensued. These guys sure know how to get down! What a blast – many thanks to second shooter Lauren for all her help.
Megan and Kevin were wed at Sand Dunes State Park in Alburgh, followed by a gorgeous reception at Turner Farmhouse in North Hero. They did a wonderful job with the details at their wedding, from the clothesline of photos to the little cupcake easels, to the suitcase centerpieces and hanging lanterns. Not only was it a beautiful affair, it was full of lovely moments, and later, an awesome party as Spiritual Rez took the stage and everyone rocked out extra hard. Kevin, a musician himself, even got on stage and played for a song or two. We had a hell of a time choosing the blog photos for this one. Congrats Meg and Kev!!
