Isabel and Dan were wed at The Rhinecliff, a pretty hotel along the banks of the Hudson River, New York, in late September. Monica shot their engagement session at the New York Public Library some months ago, which turned out beautifully. The weather did not cooperate on the wedding day, sadly, but the two of them pulled off an unforgettable day nonetheless. The toasts were among the funniest we’ve ever seen, incorporating skits with little Dan and Isabel puppets recounting the story of their romance and engagement (let’s just say it involves ice skating and an ambulance… but I digress). The late-night playlist was awesome and people rocked out extra hard on the dance floor. We slipped away for a few creative portraits on the nearby train bridge, a refreshing break from the usual red barns and Green Mountain scenery. Many thanks to second shooter Chris for his hard work.
